After arriving at JR Hiroshima Station, exit through the central gate (head toward the South Exit from the Central Gate).
For Mihara, Saijo, and Seno, use the outbound Sanyo Main Line.
For Iwakuni, Miyajimaguchi, and Nishi-Hiroshima, use the inbound Sanyo Main Line.
For Kabe and Midori, use the Kabe Line. → If using the Kabe Line or inbound Sanyo Main Line, you can also get off at Yokogawa Station and take the streetcar to Hiroshima, then get off at Kamiya-cho Nishi.
For Takehara and Kure, use the Kure Line.
For Miyoshi and Karuga, use the Geibi Line.
After exiting the gate, proceed to the right.
You will find stairs and escalators leading to the South Exit. Please go down…
You will arrive at the South Exit! From here, you’ll see the streetcar platform directly ahead (Hiroden – Hiroshima Electric Railway). Proceed straight ahead.
The platform for the streetcar bound for animate is on the left.
Board the streetcar at this platform. (The fare is 160 yen one-way, but it will be 180 yen starting August 1.)
For Route ①, take the Line 2 bound for Miyajimaguchi or Line 6 bound for Eba, and get off at Kamiya-cho Nishi.
For Route ②, take the Line 1 bound for Hiroshima Port, and get off at Hondori.

After getting off at Kamiya-cho Nishi, head toward the street with the Edion Main Store and New Building gate. If you are coming from Miyajima, Nishi-Hiroshima, or Eba, you will also get off here. If arriving by bus, the Hiroshima Bus Center is nearby and you can follow the same route from here.
Walk straight down the street past Edion, and you’ll see animate Building after passing the Lawson at the corner of the shopping arcade!

Note: The area outside the JR Hiroshima Station South Exit is currently under redevelopment, so the platforms may have been relocated or changed.

JR Line Information
- From Mihara, Saijo, Seno: Sanyo Main Line (downbound)

When you get off at Hiroden Hondori Stop or Astram Line Hondori Station, you will find a large crosswalk.
Head towards the shopping arcade where there is a Docomo Shop and Aoyama (men’s clothing store).
If you’re coming from the Ujina or Hiroshima Port direction on Hiroden, get off here as well.
If you’re coming from the Asaminami area on the Astram Line, get off at the last stop, Hondori Station, and go up to street level.
Enter the arcade and walk straight until you reach an intersection with a traffic light.
Turn towards the Lawson side.
Walk straight down the street past Edion, and you’ll see animate Building after passing the Lawson at the corner of the shopping arcade!
